DAME JANE Jane Goodall (1934 – 2025) was a powerful force and influential pathfinder in so many ways, including as a role model for women and girls in science and a pioneer at a time when there were very few women in her field. The world’s most famous chimpanzee expert transformed the way we understand the relationship between humans and the natural world. With her timeless words of wisdom she spread her urgent messages on the importance of caring for the earth and all of its inhabitants. “We each have this one life gifted to us, use it as wisely as you can and make a beautiful bit of difference.” Dr. Goodall was a legend!
